Exercise Your Rights! Even though I try to avoid the media onslaught...it is obviously impossible to avoid all the election brew-ha-ha. Yes I did say EXERCISE Your Rights!
My trips to the gym always help me clear my mind and find focus. They are not without stiffness and yes even some pain. The old saying...No Pain...No Gain! Is of course true. Exercise brings some pain...but the lack of exercise brings even more!
I am amazed when I read or hear that they are expecting a 45 to 50% turnout for this election. The new electronic ballot boxes are almost painless....Yes I voted EARLY. I actually miss the old paper ballots...something theraputic about punching those holes.
Here in Mountain Home, Arkansas we have the opportunity to vote early at the courthouse or the new library. People here have really taken advantage of this chance to avoid the lines on November second.
We have troops risking their lives in far away places. The founding fathers of this country risked everything they had for their freedom and subsequently ours. It is not mandatory to vote...but it is the right thing to do. Exercise Your Rights!
