Saturday, October 30 is the Anaheim Fall Festival & Halloween Parade (Downtown Anaheim, at the Center Street Promenade). The Halloween Parade has been an Anaheim tradition since 1924, when baseball legend Babe Ruth was honored as the Grand Marshal of the celebration. The Fall Festival, organized by the Anaheim Fall Festival Committee, have activities planned from 11am-5pm, features game and food booths, live entertainment, craft fair, a children's costume contest and trick-or-treating. Saturday, October 30 from 6-9pm is the City of Cypress Halloween Carnival (Cypress Community Center 5700 Orange Ave). October 29 & 30 is the Haunted Garden at the Arboretum (Fullerton Arboretum, 1900 Associated Road).Watch out for bats & bullfrogs, vampires & vermin, ghosts, goblins and ghouls. Follow Count Dracula and Friends of Frankenstein for a scary trip down garden paths into the deciduous forest and on to the Haunters' Ball for refreshments and fun. The tours for this popular event begin at 6:30 PM both nights with the last scheduled tour leaving at 8:30 pm. Tour times both nights are planned from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. For the younger Halloween fans the Haunted Garden will feature a Children's Party on Saturday, October 30th from 1:00- 3:00 PM, for children 3-5 years of age. GARDEN GROVE
October 31, Halloween, will be "Diner of the Dead" Haunted Maze from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The City of Garden Grove brings the abandoned Black Angus restaurant back to life - or death - this Halloween as the "Diner of the Dead," a heart-pounding, horror-filled maze set inside the vacant, 10,000 square foot restaurant at 12900 Euclid Street. The maze opens every weekend from October 8 through 31. The horror starts at 7:00 p.m. and goes to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sundays. The maze will also be open on Thursdays, October 21 and 28 and on Wednesday, October 27. The midnight closing time is for Fridays and Saturdays only. The haunt is intended for teenage to adult audiences. Admission is $13 per person with photos available for an extra fee. Tickets will be available at the door or at Garden Grove City Hall. Bring in a "Diner of the Dead" flyer for a $3 discount. The "Diner of the Dead" is collaboration between Jeff Schiefelbein's Imagination Design Studios and Abracadaver Productions. Imagination Design is known for the Silent Hill Haunt at Sinister Point in Brea and Abracadaver's spooky sculptures have appeared in numerous films.

October 30, from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm is the Mini Monsters Bash (Children's Museum at La Habra, 301 South Euclid Street).
