Hey guys. Sorry that I've been clogging the wires lately with some of my local hardwood flooring posts - I'm trying to get my 60 new pages created, indexed and high on the google rankings. Also, it's a busy time for me as many are trying to get their floors done in time for the holidays + I have my big home show this weekend (cross your fingers).
My newest subscriber, Ginny Gorman suggested that while I'm in the midst of this (esp between now and Thanksgiving) that I highlight some of my previous posts. I thought this was a super idea, esp since now I have some subscribers and not everyone has seen the older posts.
So, if there is something here of interest to you, take a look. Or, just bookmark for later, in case you get questions about this from your clients. So, here goes...from the beginning.
1. Solid Hardwood or Engineered Hardwood - Which is better?
This is my 2nd post. (I'm too embarrassed to share my first as it's pretty lame.) In here I discuss the differences in structure between these 2 types of hardwoods and the circumstance for when you might choose one over the other.

4. Refinishing hardwood - please use an expert even if it's not us
This explains some of recent botched up jobs I've seen and been brought in to fix. This is one place where it is not worth it to hire amateurs. It doesn't pay.
5. Is engineered hardwood real?
This explains what engineered hardwood is (and what it isn't) as well as when you would want to use it (rather than solid hardwood).
