What a beautiful day for a walk!
What a beautiful day for a walk Mary said, .....she's my neighbor, as she sauntered by my house this morning. I noticed she was walking a dog. Cute little thing but very determined to go where she wanted and not where Mary wanted her to go. I hadn't seen her with a dog before so I asked her when she got the new puppy.
Mary went on to tell me that another neighbor who lived at the end of the road had fallen and broken her leg after falling .....and Mary had been nice enough to volunteer her time and energy by taking Sadie, the puppy out for the lady. Because the dog's owner was having trouble finding someone to come on a routine basis for the dog, Mary said she would walk Sadie until she could find someone to do it. Actually I think Sadie was walking Mary. That's the way it looked to me.
How nice is that! ....Mary didn't mind helping out . "That's what neighbors do she said , help each other out, and so it was. Mary and Sadie continued down the street through the falling leaves. It made me smile to know that there are nice people among us who come forth to help out when needed.
There are lots of wonderful people that are kind and caring in your neighborhood. All you have to do is look around and you'll see them.
