Another One Down!
Congratulations to everyone who made this one so simple! Another one Down! Too many stories we are hearing these days are of short sale nightmares. I thought I would throw in a good one for a re
minder they do exist! (I have been lucky and had quite a few successes this year with Short Sales!) Although the seller struggled for over a year trying to get a loan modification, since it was an investment property, Chase was not having it. But they were all over approving the short sale!
The VA offer (YES, I said VA offer) was accepted on August 18, 2010. 40 business days later, Short Sale approval in hand! The buyers lender went to work and we completed the sale Thursday October 28th! It is amazing to work with like minded people all working toward the same goal! Positive attitudes, diligence and patience from all parties really makes it all worth while!
Now, if I can get the rest of them to go this smoothly.......
