The Odds Are Against Me This Halloween....
I love Halloween, my entire family does. Decorating, Carving Pumpkins, Caramel Apples, Costumes...What's Not to Love? My parents, inlaws, my sister and her family, and many friends get together every year for dinner and then we head off with the kids for Trick-or-treating. We set up a table in one driveway, and everyone adds their big bowl of treats to the mix. There is always the major decision...Who stays at the house to pass out the candy?
This year, I won a contest. All I had to do was write a little blurb about why I love Halloween, and I WON! The prize was a package from Snickers! 19 bags of the New Snickers Peanut Butter Squares, 10 bags of original Snickers, a fog machine, strobe light, and some other neat little things. Here's the catch...The New Candy Bar will not actually be released into the public until this winter, so this is their way of introducing the product and get a little feedback before they market the new (really tasty) candy bar. I was told to use the products to decorate for Halloween (we 
do that anyway), and then pass out the candy on Halloween Night (Okay, I don't think the kids will complain), and then present photos and a video (if possible), to the company for future Advertising & Marketing.
Here's my problem...I have been participating in "Taking it off in the Rain" for a few weeks now, and am doing pretty good. I have lost a total of 8.5 pounds, I have been excercising more often, and now...Snickers seem to be burying me alive. Send some good vibes my way to keep me strong!
