Every Halloween we host the Senior state tennis Championships in Pinehurst.Tennis in Pinehurst

Men and women from all over North Carolina come as their area champions to compete for the USTA state championship in their respective level.  The winner from each level of play will advance to the sectionals played different places throughout the southeast.

Living here in Pinehurst allows me to watch and cheer on our local teams. As a tennis player myself, this is a fun weekend that I have enjoyed for the past 7 years.  Several of these years I also volunteered for the USTA in site coordinating.

Hopefully, the senior tennis championships will continue to played here in Pinehurst for years to come.
