Larry: Rewards and penalties are added incentives to work to achieve a goal. (BTW, LMAO at your profile -- you speak Australian?)
Rebecca: Don't we all ...
Brian, Great post! I have to come back to this one and re-read this. I need to refresh my goals as well!
Brian
Great post. Thanks for reminding me. Some days it seems the dreams are out of reach. I appreciate the nice nudge back to my vision!!
Aweosome post. This is something that I've been thinking about for a while. Seeing it on paper, I mean the computer screen, drives it home a little more. I'll start working on this. Thanks!
Jason, my biggest challenge is continuing to look at my goals throughout the year to make sure I'm staying on track. I've decided that when I'm finished with the exercise, I'm going to have them printed and on my nightstand so that I can re-read them every day. (That's #6, BTW -- revisit, review, re-evaluate).
Deb, we all need a nudge now and then. I wrote this mostly for myself.
Thanks, Eric. Hope it helps.
Have always dreamed big and am really happy with where it has led me.
Keep dreaming big.
How was the first day of having the new office open?
Love it! Goals are important if you want to advance in life :)
Cool Name. Everyone wants a piece of the Dream Big concept so you are drawn to the name.
Dreaming big is like having a huge target.. .you are bound to get close even if you miss it!
Brian first congratulations on "Dream Big Real Estate"! Great post, you got me thinking and perfect timing as I am also in the process of reviewing this years and next years business plan for myself.
Love the name and a good post.
This is great.

Brian -- I opened my own office over 3 years ago and (even in this rough time) I never regret it one day. Congrats and may all your dreams come true!
Judi: Thanks, and it was nice and quiet. Actually got work done. No negative office banter ...
SCA: Yes, they are.
Cheryl & Chad: Yes, it fits our attitudes.
Fernando & Fern: Shoot high and land high
Michelle: Thanks. Never a better time than right now.
James: The view is much better from above.
Erica: Thank you.
"Because life will beat the dreams right out of you." That is my new favorite quote. I think a lot of Realtors have had the dreams beaten out of them lately.
PS How do I get certified as a short sale genius? lol.
Ann, yes, many have left real estate with a bad taste for it.
Funny you should ask about SSG. Short Sale Summit is going on this week in San Diego (short notice!). Amazing training from people who used to work for the banks. It's unlike any other SS training I've done. Want me to connect you with them?
THis is an excelent post, thanks Bryan
Dream on! Thanks brother.
Brian, congratulations on opening your own operation. I did so 5 years ago and never regretted it. Not easy, but as you rightly point out, when you have a dream the roadblocks are mere details.
Maria & Doug: Thanks!
Phil: It's already paying dividends. I've never been much of a follower, and from the moment that I stepped out of my own brokerage and under the thumb of another, I knew I had to get back on my own.
