Almost Speechless Sunday - Halloween Morning in Red Lodge, Montana

Halloween morning 2010 - Red Lodge, Montana

Some snow high up on the mountains (luckily none in town so the kids will be able to move around easily to collect candy)

A touch of bloody red in the sky ...

... along with the familiar orange and black colors and sunshine to share with you on this Halloween morning.

Myrl,

I sure did.  It has been pretty nice and sunny for most of the weekend.   I am glad you like the photo that I intentionally put at the center of this post. :)

Mary,

I also think most likely at night!  They better have some head lights on their brooms.  :)

Marc,

I heard they also had some light snow in Montreal.  No snow yet in the town of Red Lodge (it has stayed on the mountain tops) which is amazing compared to last year where it snowed at the end of September and many more times in October.

What breath taking pictures... I want to take an oil painting class. I think I can do it without the class but it is always good to get a few new prospectives from someone else.

I can pencil sketch and water color but not oil....hmmmm

Those are the kind of sunrises and sunsets that inspire artists, poets, and of course the best photographer in Montana!

What a beautiful Red Lodge Sky! You should have some of these framed on display in every restaurant and motel/hotel in Red Lodge, Montana!  :)

Sussie,

I think you should entertain the idea of taking an oil painting class and make it happen.  I have a huntch that you will like it.   :)

Patricia,

It is not every day I get two visitors from Texas in a row who comment in one of my posts!  :)

I am grateful to be inspired and to inspire others with my photos.

It is funny you mentionned about having my pictures displayed more in Red Lodge.   Lately, I have had a few people from Red lodge who discovered me online for the first time and/or discovered that I take good photographs thanks to the photos I share on my blog.   I am excited that some of my photos made it or will make it in brochures.   I hope to witness a framed photo of mine as well by some business in Red Lodge some day.    :)

Absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been to Montana just once, and that was only the small little area that is part of Yellowstone National Park.

Jim,

Thanks.  In terms of percentage that small little area you are mentioning is not even 0.01% of the entire State!   :)
