sunsetLike all landlords, we have had our share of great tenants and just once, not-so-great tenants (a long blog post in itself)...and this month, we have the pleasure of checking out our summer rental cottage on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where the season has just ended as well as a year round rental, where tenants have just departed.

We aren't expecting any problems at either property, since they are both under professional management, but it is always "interesting" to see what little things we find missing or "altered" in the beach house.

We will get to it, eventually...right now, we're just enjoying the deck and the beautiful weather!

Chris Ann:  You can do it!  We were very lucky to have purchased the last affordable piece of oceanfront property on the OBX before the market took off.  At least that is what we have been told...LOL...fortunately, it is well behaved and supports itself.

Looks like a nice place, Susan! We have a condo on the beach in Corpus Christi, but haven't had the time to venture down there and check it out lately. Must do that soon.
