Wow -- this one really hits home.  Beside the emphasis on the nuturing environment... I also like this phrase.

"Learn from the experts who are already where you want to go."

This makes a lot of sense. Make sure your environment nurtures you or change it. I really need to go through some piles of papers that haven't been nurturing me at all.  

Nurturing yourself by prepareing yourself with the right tools to succeed.

It is important to think these things through.  I recently moved my home office to a space that gives me more privacy and a better view out the window, but only after making the move did I realize I'm too far away from our incredible sound system to enjoy my music to its fullest. Still working on a resolution!

I almost missed this great post but saw it in the news letter and had to drop by!

We have to give ourselves the chance to excel in all facets of our businesss and pesonal lives!

Gary, wonderful post that everyone should read.  I am a great believer that environment affects us and molds our future.  So important to nurture ourselves through our environment.  Sometimes it may require us to make difficult choices.  Thanks for the inspiration and reminder,

So true. People don't give our surrounds or people in our immediate circle a critical enough eye.

This is true. I'v been neglecting my personal space because I don't have the money to make essential repairs.  But it just FEELS terrible.  I have been addressing this as much as is affordable over the past couple months.

This sounds like an addendum to the Law of Attraction - which says to always make the choice that feels better.

Gary: We are we are today, have what we have today because of the choices we made or did not make. Nurture your thoughts and good things happen.
