Today, I spent about an hour at the Irving, Texas Veterans Memorial. I thought about their sacrifices and what it means to me, to know they gave up their lives so that I could have this day to sit and reflect by my self and by my own free choice. The weather was warm and sunny and not nearly as hot as what they've been through or where they were at. I was all alone, or so I thought...
As I was walking to my car about 50 butterflies descended from out of the sky and landed on the purple flowers in the flower beds. I was struck by awe. I hope you enjoy them too.
