Happy Halloween - Did You Enjoy Tricks or Treats - Speechless Sunday
Tonight the kids were looking forward to dressing up for Halloween. Who am I kidding, I love the excuse to dress up too! Then out and about the neighborhood for trick or treat and gathering more candy than anybody should eat in a month.
Did you take the opportunity?
We participating by giving out candy at a town event. We both dressed up (I was a pirate, my husband was Zorro). We even had an opportunity to walk around the event with our granddaughter who was a ladybug!
No spider men, ninja turtles or wiches for us at our house! Not even ONE tricker treater?
Donna - That sounds like fun. My niece was a ladybug too and was adorable.
Joni - No trick or treaters? What a bummer.
We went around the neighboorhood with my niece. She really enjoyed this new adventure :)
Just two all night and one was the older sibling walking the younger around.
Looks like you and the little ones were all ready for a night of trick or treating. Glad you had a great time. It was quiet here, but the few who knocked on the door were as adorable as always.
Good Morning Christine, Too cute. Halloween is such a fun time. Seems that some neighborhoods around here are doing more neighborhood parties for the kids and much less door to door than usual. I suspect our society is morphing in many ways , this just being one of them. Glad you all had a Happy Halloween.

Larry - I love seeing the trick or treaters and would have been disappointed with just two.
Craig - I'm sure they were. We had a great time.
William - We had a neighborhood party and then went trick or treating.
Tom - My aunt used to make my cousins eat as much as they wanted could on Halloween and threw out the rest the next day. They didn't usually feel so good on 11/1, but it took them a long time to learn.
Jane - I was going Wicked Witch with the ruby red slipper (which created wicked blisters), but I skipped the green face paint.

Hi Christine... Thank goodness you didn't wear that hat at RainCamp Charlotte. Nobody behind you would have been able to see the stage! :-)
I'm glad to see you made it back from the east coast to help your little ghouls out for the Halloween festivities.
Halloween is so much fun for the kids as well as us adults! It also gives us a reason to act like kids again!
Steve - I'm pretty short so maybe it would've worked for some of the taller attendees ; )
Todd- Wouldn't have missed it for the world. I had to skip home quickly to make a birthday too.
