November 19 – 21: Bid on hundreds of exotic and classic vehicles.
This year’s three-day auction will feature a broad selection of more than 600 cars, trucks and other classic vehicles, all in mint condition.
The auction will stream live via the Internet, allowing people who register in advance to bid for cars by phone. “At the previous auction, we had people calling in bids from across the United States, Europe and New Zealand,” said auction founder and owner Keith McCormick. “And there were countless others who participated in the live auction on their home or office computers.” To connect to the live broadcast and view registration information, go to McCormick’s Classic Car Auction.
“People bidding by telephone need to register in advance and follow the same procedures as people attending the auction,” McCormick noted. “Bidding requires a $30 registration fee and a good faith deposit, which is refunded if nothing is purchased.” An impressive array of vehicles at this year’s auction will include antique cars and trucks, muscle cars from the 1960’s and 70’s and classic foreign and U.S. sports cars, trucks and motorcycles. Values vary from a few thousand dollars, to well into six figures. Registration details and photos of the vehicles are online at www.classic-carauction.com.
Keith and Jason McCormick, father and son, work with other family members to create the popular car show and auction. This will be the 49 th auction Keith McCormick has sponsored. “Palm Springs has always been home for so many exotic cars,” he said. “It’s the perfect setting for the event.”
