It is a quiet week so perhaps you can take this time to gathering up your old tax returns and other sensitive documents for the Shredding Event!
Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm FREE Shredding Event at the Stanford Middle School. Sergeant Shredder will securely shred your documents on site and refreshments and drinks will be provided. The recycled paper is sold as a commodity and profits will be given to the Stanford PTA.
Tuesday is Election Day. Please get out and vote!
Wednesday is Councilperson Patrick O’Donnell’s monthly “Chat with Pat” held at the Los Altos Library from 4:30 to 6:00. This week he will be bringing representatives of the Orange Transportation Authority to talk about the impending closure of the 7th Street Bridge.
Saturday - Los Angeles Opera Community Educator John Spear will present an Introduction to The Opera at the El Dorado Neighborhood Library on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 2 p.m. John Spears is an opera fanatic and will explain how opera engages the mind, captures the heart and releases the imagination.
