Let the kids play

Winter League Tryouts will be held this Sunday, November 7th and Sunday November 14th, 2010.  Tryouts will be at Sonora High School, Dunlavy Soccer Field.  All players must have played with TCYS this summer in order to compete in the Bill Meyer League.

 

Players must wear a numbered jersey and shin guards, bring a bottle of water and if you have a ball bring that too.

 

Here is the age group schedule:

Under 10 Boys/Girls  8 - 9:30

Under 12 Girls          9 - 11

Under 14 Girls          9 - 11

Under 12 Boys         10:30 - 12:30

Under 14 Boys         10:30 - 12:30

Under 19/17 Boys    12 - 2

Under 19/17 Girls     2 - 4

 

The under 10 - under 14 team compete January 22 through the end of February.  Cost is $120 which covers iniforms, registration, referee fee and most field costs.  This is a traveling team and travel costs are not included

I was concerned about the early start for the under 10 girls but luckily we "fall back" the clock so there will be an extra hour of sleep!

How did the try-outs go in the rain?  If they are tough enough to try out in the rain then they will be able to handle the season.
