Seller and Buyer - Work together so you can close
Your house is under contract, hooray! Both you and the buyer are so excited and look forward to the closing day, believe me, we all are.
There are many things still need to be done before we can get to close. So sit tight and follow the directions from your agents and do what it is needed to do before the closing.
We, as your agent, have experience handling different situations. Our job is to guide you and let you know what is going on every step of the way after the house is under contract. There are times that it is fairly smooth, but, there are times that we can't foresee and it is beyond our control. Some of the things that are not under our control will be the appraisal, home inspection, buyer's loan application, home title search, etc.
You see, real estate transaction is a team work, no one can play the magic alone to make things happen. We work closely with everyone in the transaction, and we make sure our client, you, are informed as things appear that need your attention. Remember, our common goal is to close the transaction, so you can move on to the next step of your plan. Our job also need your co-operation to get things done when we inform you what you need to do on your side. Regulations change often, we all need to comply with them in order to make things work. We don't make the rules, but we have to follow them, and it is our job to let our client, you, know what is going on. You do want to be included in the loop, don't you?
So, please don't fuss at your agent when they tell you something different comes up, they probably are things out of our control.
