Gettysburg Pa Home Prices Spike in Last 90 Days

Home prices are always a mystery here in the Gettysburg Pa area. You just never know what district is going to take a hit, and which ones are going to get a boost. As many of you that have been following my blog know the Gettysburg Pa area has been experiencing a bottoming in median home prices. As the chart below indicates the same holds true for the Biglerville Pa and Fairfield Pa areas. This trend for all three area's has been holding in a steady decline for some time. Yet all of a sudden take a look at what the Gettysburg Pa area has experienced. A significant uptick to the tune of approximately 20k in the last 90 days.

What is the message in this information? If you are looking for a home in the Gettysburg Pa area and have been "sitting" on the fence, maybe now while interest rates are at historic lows, it's time to jump off that fence.

What better way to celebrate the holidays than in the home of your dreams. Contact GettysburgGerry for help in making that dream come true.

That seems to be a good sign. Let's hope it begins a trend. You would think that prices going up would slow sales, but in homes, the opposite is true. Go figure.

Hi Gerry...We don't have a 'spike' but the average here in Lebanon County is higher than a year ago...Biggest difference is Lebanon City homes, shortest days on market, highest average price increase...It might be that your 'we have apulse' comment from a few weeks back is turning into a strong heartbeat!...Enjoy the day.

Great information Gerry. Manhattan New York are seeing increase in sales activities especially in the segment below $1M. I hope buyers receive this information in your area and contact you for some great investment opportunities.

Interesting. There was not a large sale which caused the numbers to change because of it, was there?

We're thinking it means that GettsyburgGerry has been doing such an excellent job of raising awareness about Gettsyburg, that it is becoming one of 'the' places to live and obviously buyers are understanding this!
