You've heard it, and heard it, from Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Brokers, Loan Officers, Home Stagers -- IT'S A GREAT TIME TO BUY A HOUSE! I've even suggested it myself. 
But I have come to my senses. There is no reason to buy a home in Wrightsville Beach, NC, or anywhere for that matter, right now. Forget the great prices, historically low interest rates and fantastic homes to choose from. Please, don't buy a house right now. It will be so much better for me if you wait!
Yep, I said it. And I mean it. If you wait for the prices to go up, I'll make more money. And, as I believe I've mentioned before, this is a business. I'm in it to make money.
I know, it doesn't sound like I'm suggesting what is best for buyers. And I'm not. I've been suggesting it ad nauseam, and no one's listening. So, I'm going to start suggesting what's best for me! And what's best for me is for buyers to continue sitting on the fence. Once you finally climb off your perches, well, the prices of homes and interest rates will have gone up. And the mo
re you have to spend, the more I make.

Because the truth is, I always look out for buyers, and getting them the home of their dreams at a price they like, makes me happy.
