Love him or hate him, you can't fault Gavin Newsom for being a BIG Giants fan. So when I was digging around for some good photos of the post-game festivities last night, Gavin's pics on Flickr were some of the coolest I found-- maybe because his VIP status gets him some great vantage points:
This is our Ferry Building-- God's gift to foodies and a familiar landmark to anyone who remembers our fair city from the 1950 and before.
This is a view across Civic Center Plaza-- perhaps even from inside City Hall? Maybe even from his office window? I'm not sure. Do you know??
No doubt what this is-- How I love our Beaux Arts civic buildings!
Gavin got a bit 'arty' here, but I think he did a good job. This looks to be the same vantage point as the earlier image above.

My own heart is swelling with pride. our company even cancelled our weekly sales meeting for the parade. So look for me tomorrow somewhere on Market between Powell and Civic Center around the noon hour!
