Ute Valley Park Colorado Springs

Ute Valley Park is a nice place to hike or bike on the northwest end of Colorado Springs. It has 338.4 acres and many different trails. Click here for a link to map of the trails of Ute Valley Park 

Ute Valley is home to wildlife including foxes, coyotes, and on this day there was a notice of bear activity in the area attached to this sign below. Be careful also of rattlesnakes, as they are abundant in the park. I have never witnessed one, but have heard stories of people who have.

It is a nice hike for a family or individual. It is fairly easy. However, if you are biking the trails the rating is moderate.

Joyce, THanks for stopping by. It is a great place for the whole family to enjoy. It is also right next to my son's middle school. For PE class they run the park sometimes.
