Lake Ridge Fall Color on Land and Lake

I used my two favorite Lake Ridge Fall leaf photos to create the montage below - the cars are not going to roll into the reservoir :)

Our 4,400 acres and 1,200 acres of common ground are ablaze with leaf color similar to those on the left.

Lake Ridge sits on the shore of the 2,100 acre Occoquan Reservoir. As you can see, the color of the foliage is decidedly different - those trees didn't come from the Lake Ridge Nursery

Rich Art did it - the secret to a seamless montage is to have photos that will blend well at the seam. He had approcimately 100 to choose from so it was easy :)

Karen, yours is a beautiful area especially in the fall. And just to restate what Diane #3 said; I'm currently in Alabama down from Chicago area along the Wisconsin border and this time of the year is so beautiful there...if you've never been out of the south you really don't know.
