Sunrise On Pine Mountain In St Clair County

Pine Mountain, Logan Martin Lake Sales

I was going out of town the other day, and on the way to meet my friend I had to drive up Pine Mountain in St Clair County.  When I got to the top of Pine Mountain, I saw this beautiful sight of the sun starting to rise over St. Clair County. When your day starts by seeing this breathtaking sight, you know that you are going to have a fantastic one.

Hi Diane - It is so cool how it is bright at the forefront, dark in the middle, and bright on the horizon.  Very nice shot!

Myrl,  first thing in the morning when the sun starts to come up it is almost like the earth wakes up and shows us all her beauty.  It is a special time of the day.

Diane--It is almost as if it happened by accident, but the flowers and greenery at the bottom of your photo just make this a gorgeous shot.  I don't get to visit any mountains very often so I am always in awe.  Very pretty!

Diane,

That is a breath taking view!  Love it!  That would be a great place to sit and relax or go for a hike or ride.  Preferably ride.  :-)

Hi Diane!  This photo brings back memories from probably 30 years ago when we would drive to Springville to watch hang gliders take off from he mountain.  One of our neighbors was a hang gliding enthusiast and we would go watch him and the others take off and land.  Gosh, I haven't thought about that in a long time.....it was thrilling to watch!
