ActiveRain Superstar Michael Thornton
Celebrates Yet Another Birthday Today!
Today, my friends, Michael Thornton, home inspector extraordinaire from
the Nashville, Tennessee area, and my good friend, celebrates yet another
birthday.
It's amazing how he keeps getting older while we all keep getting younger.
But that's another post for another time.
Today we celebrate the life and times of one of ActiveRain's most prolific bloggers and a helluva good guy,
Michael Thornton.
Let us begin........
Now I'm not going to mince words here folks.
Michael was born a loooong time ago!
As the timeline above shows, somewhere between the formation of the Earth,
and the first signs of life, Michael emerged out of the primordial ooze.
It's a little unclear whether Michael was born or hatched, but this early photo
of his emergence has scientists formulating a theory.
After many years fighting to survive in the bush....
...Michael found his way to what is now known as Nashville, Tennessee.
As we move ahead a few years, Michael, now civilized, found himself a
troubled little boy just trying to get through school.....
On his 25th birthday, Michael, at long last, passed his high school finals, and
immediately was awarded a cheerleading scholarship to the
Nivea College of Skin Rashes where he majored in eczema.
Michael struggled in college and was eventually expelled when it was
discovered that he wasn't using Nivea products to combat
his chronic athlete's foot problem.
Confused, broke and not knowing what to do or where to go,
Michael hid out in his grandmother's
crawl space in the Nashville area of Tennessee.
It was there, while crawling aound, that Michael had an epiphany! He decided
that he wanted to inspect these things. It was his destiny!
So Michael formed "Complete Home Inspections", which today has grown to
be one of Middle Tennessee's most successful home inspection companies.
These days, Michael is still actively performing home inspections. However, at
night, he resides in the Mucus-Goiter Home for the Aged where spends much
of his time blogging and talking to his pet rat Sergio.
