13 Comments on Yeah, get a brain, Morans!
Robin, this is so funny, I sent Alan an email about something funny that happened in Austin at a tea party gathering in the spring.
Heck, I am just glad it's over, at least for the present. In a few months all the political nonsense will start again in anticipation of 2012!
Dang...it never ends!
Typical liberal perspective. At least the Tea Party PATRIOTS care about the future of this country and are working to stop the over-reach of the liberal left. I love it when liberals come out of hiding, have nothing to say, and leave themselves looking like the fools that they truly are. Have a great CONSERVATIVE day!
Thanks for the post election humor by pointing us to Alan's post.
Margaret
I saw Alan's post the other day and I'll say the same thing here..... These "morans" lose their credibility when they don't even take the time to get it right.
I'll have to stop by Alan's blog and leave a comment there as well. This is too funny. And you know they are too full of themselves to even realize how stupid they look with these signs.
You've hit upon one of my pet peeves! However, please tell me that you were being tongue-in-cheek with your comment about "Morans." You are aware that the proper spelling is morons, aren't you?
@ Louis, if you read through the signs on the photographs, you'll find that, indeed, I was being 'tongue-in-cheek', and trying to point out the lack of spelling skills. Yes, I are aware!
@ Vito - "Typical liberal perspective."??? I (we) made no disparaging remarks about the content of their signage... Nor did we take any shots at the far right that they represent. I wish you could do the same, and not make it "personal".
We purposely went out of our way to make sure this was NOT a political commentary... just some poorly spelled signs that seemed funny, given their juxtaposition. I'd be just as happy to post some poorly spelled Democratic signage... if you'd care to supply them.
What he said! :)
I can go through some of the numerous signs from the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear and see how many misspellings I can find to post. Presumably, some of the attendees were Democrats, or at least liberals.
My bad! I was laughing too hard after I read the Nancy Pelosi sign, and missed the last one. Thanque faw pointin it owt to mee. Now, if you'll excuse me, I want to go invent a "spell checker" program for signs.
Alan - Your actions speak louder than your words. "No dispariging remarks", but yet lets ridicule Tea Party Patriots as much as possible. Typical liberal move whereby you disparage those you don't agree with, yet when confronted with the truth you try to deny that you ever had that obvious intent in the first place. As least have the cojones to stand up and accept responsbility for the point-of-view that you have expressed.
Oh, brother! Poor Vito. Get a life! Alan, I saw Robin's repost and had to come over "hear" to read it for myself. Too, too funny!
Actions do speak louder than words. But on a blog post, all we have are words!
I looked through 100 of the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear signs and could not find any misspellings (except for a couple of deliberate ones). But I did find three unnecessary apostrophes, as well as my personal favorite sign:
@Lorrie: "Get a life?" That is the deep, intellectual response you manage to come up with? Did you you have any argument to refute the points that I made? No, I didn't think so. I'm guessing you are a card carrying member of the lunatic leftist society as well.
