Sales showed positive numbers in October for both Hamilton and Mercer Co, NJ.
46 homes sold during the month in Hamilton. Prices ranged from $44,500 for a twin home, 3/1, on State St, to $689,000 for a 4/4.5 home on Lauren Lane in Woodcliff Estates.
Compare this to 2009 sales, when 84 homes sold in Hamilton Twp. Then, prices ranged from $60,000 for a 3/1 on Parkinson Ave, to $478,220 for a 5/3 new construction home in Dogwood Meadows. Last year, the buyer tax credit was fully impacting sales.
In September, 2010, 39 homes sold, so October saw a very positive jump in Hamilton.
For Mercer County, in October, 2010, 173 homes sold, from $13,000 for a twin home in Trenton, to $980,000 for a home in Windsor Ridge, West Windsor.
In September, 183 homes sold in the county.
In October of last year, 292 homes closed in Mercer County.
