In the biggest shift in more than a half century. Republicans cautiously celebrate the massive win of the 2010 U.S. mid-term elections. Large gains in the House of Representatives (186 Democrat Seats with 239 Republican seats) House is now Republican controlled. Democrats still managed to retain control of the Senate by a narrow margin (52 Democrat seats to 46 Republican seats). A historical number of voters are plainly asking for a Change of Direction. Mainly hoping to bring new legislation that fights the current high unemployment, sinking home prices, and out of control government spending.
It seems to me that a shift in consumer confidence is starting of occur. I am optimistic for a more robust 2011.
