Delicioso Torino's - Things to Do in Oro Valley, AZ

The food was simply fabino!
I had to share
My blog everywhere
Of the delicioso, magnificent Torino!
Years ago I worked at a wonderful church in Oro Valley, Arizona, just north of Tucson. I was a church secretary and administrative assistant, and did quite a things under the guise of a Pastor’s assistant as well. I loved my job and had a huge “staff” of volunteers that came in regularly to help with folding bulletins, working at services, answering phones, and general office duties.
This past week I had the joy of being taken out to lunch by one of my old friends of the church. He bought me lunch at one of his favorite places, and we had a good ole’ visit.
The food was awesome. I’d been there a few times in the past to have a Panini, but this visit I had an incredible 1/2 wrap with turkey and cheese and tomatoes and avocado AND…butternut squash soup thickened with potatoes. Hmmmmmm. My friend had a fluffy salad with cranberries, pears, pecans, grilled chicken, cheese crumbles and more.
My husband and I have stopped there twice in the evenings specifically for their crab cakes and shrimp cocktail with gazpacho. We literally liked the cocktail glass the sumptuous, freshly made tomato mixture was in.
Incredible.
Do yourself a favor, and if you live in Oro Valley, North Tucson, Marana, or anywhere in the Tucson Metropolis and would just like a little drive – try Caffe' Torino’s on La Canada and Lambert Lane. Your tastebuds will thank you.
