Google Places Part 2- have a great listing

For those of you who read my previous blog and set up your local place, its now time to break down how I have gained so much visibility in search rankings. So first of all, make sure you have a great listing. Click here and this will re-direct you to my listing.

To make a great listing:

1. Enter in your company name exactly how it is.

2. Add at least 2 phone numbers. Also add your website. You can use your blog!

3. Categories. If you click on the plus sign you will see my keywords I use. Please refer to this link to find keywords people are using in searches.

4. Have a good description. Take sometime in this, this is the first thing that they will read.

5. Make sure to include details. This can include licensing, specialties and so on and so forth. The more info, the better the listing looks.

6. Add a good amount of photos. Also add a video if you can.

7. Create a coupon! Come up with something unique and that will draw customers attention.

8. If you can, get some of your clients to do a review for you. The keywords they'll type in, will help your rankings.

9. Create a post! This is newer from Google, launched this year. You can put something like "free property search".

I know a lot of you have already logged in and created your listing or claimed it. Now, take the time, go back in and make your listing with more detail and time. Create a coupon. Make it as bright and pleasant as you can.
