There are many benefits from having your home on the real estate market here in Pullman Washington in the Fall. Of course, it is always a balancing act, but one such benefit is there are less homes from which to pick. Especially in Pullman, we do have folks moving in for second semester here at Washington State University. And according to local news, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is still hiring.
Another benefit to remember is that those who are out looking very serious about looking for a home. They are not fair-weathered folks out just looking, they are ready to make a decision about their housing needs and it is motivating them to get out there and look in spite of the weather.
For you sellers, that have chosen to keep your homes on the market, that is great news! I know I encourage my sellers to stay on the market at least until we get late in the year. And for those who really feel they need a break from being on the market, to stay on as long as they can possibly deal with it. If you have already moved on you should definitely leave your house on the market as you never know when that buyer just might need to be looking for a new home.
And sellers, I know it is hard to be market ready....really I do. It is challenging, but you only get one chance to put your best foot forward. Your potential buyers impression of you home will be formed within minutes, sometimes at the curb. So please do keep it looking great!
