Many of our local events take place at the First Street Green in Benicia, CA. When a Jazz Festival or Halloween contest is not taking place, First Street Green has the local birds flocking to the wide expanse of green grass, with beautiful views of the Carquinez Straits. Grab your fishing pole and fish from the nearby shore. Gather there for the Fourth of July Fireworks. It is also the start of the Christmas Parades, Soccer Parades and Fourth of July Parades.
It is a perfect place to have a picnic, fly a kite, throw the frisbee or just sit and read a book. When you get hungry just walk over to Sailor Jacks for a bite to eat or how about Frankenburgers?
