Okay....if this happens to your car, it is not good. In fact, you better remove bird dropping right away as it stains and eats through paint. Also, I once pulled in a fast food place to order and walked from my car to the building. half way through, a flock of birds flew over and bombed me in their droppings. I was drenched in them....
HERE IS THE POINT OF THE POST
It is the good droppings, the ones that birds go about dropping at random that benefit us in ways that we take for granted. I have trees, bushes and flowers all growing all over my lawn and gardens from the seeds that were dropped by birds.
DEAR...LOOK AT WHAT THE BIRDS DROPPED BY
I have often told my wife that you can tell the difference from what we planted and what the birds planted and when it comes together, it makes for an interesting combo.
You never know what you will end up with either. I have baby Palms growing in places I wouldn't have put them. I have a bird bush that grew into such a thick bush that the birds use it for nesting. It has thorns and it is thick so it repels rats, possums, coyotes....all from someones "waste" mind you..
Guano...which is a collection of droppings (bird or bats) are valued and sought after all over the world for their rich deposits of minerals and nutrients that plants crave.....
CAN I BORROW A BUFFALO CHIP......?
People who raise cattle and horses knew the value of droppings and have herds eat in different areas and also 'DROP' in those areas to assuring that a new crop of grass or lichen will appear again and again....Don't forget that people have been burning this stuff for thousands of years to cook and keep warm with.
Sidebar: People who lived off the land can tell a great deal about what is going on from examining droppings of any sort. Even animals use them to send a message to each other like I am available, male or female and/or stay away from here.
IN ALL THE KNOWN SOLAR SYSTEM....THERE IS NO OTHER SYSTEM LIKE IT
What an incredible system and the ones participating in it do not even know they are doing it. Now, that is brilliant. In the end....if you let this "system" run its course, you will end up with a custom garden with no effort on your part and at no additional expense either.....now that is a bargain

Richie - The incredible symbiotic relationships we observe here on our planet are pretty amazing. As to the bird droppings, I recently had such an encounter while "leaf watching" in the n. GA mountains. While standing under a beautiful maple, a bird left his mark on my shoulder--I imagined he was just saying "I'm here too."
Yes John.....this stuff has been going on for millions of years. it is us that have been invited to this magnificent party given by a most generous and mysterious host.....I am grateful as are you......
