I would like to get some opinions on phones before I buy one. I have a Samsung Blackjack Smartphone, and my contract with AT&T was up over 2 years ago, so I'm long overdue. I don't have a problem with the carrier, but I don't like Sprint, as when I had Sprint, and I was standing in line at the Sprint Store, I couldn't get a signal!

I would like a phone where I can see the numbers, and not feel like I need mini-fingers to type. I would like to get the Internet, emails, etc. I would also like one that takes better photos, and has video.

And I would like to be able to read the screen, and not have pocket or purse dialing...: )!

I honestly haven't kept up with the whole phone thing and don't know the diferences or benefits to the newer ones.

Can some of you recommend one to me??

Cindy, I know you had a bad experince with Sprint but I have had great coverage. I just got their newest 4G phone the Sprint epic. It is an Android and I LOVE IT! I was in the hill country for the weekend and took my laptop but forgot the power cord. I ended up using my cell phone for almost everthing that I did.

I just use a phone to send and receive calls. But, Robin uses the Droid X and really likes it.

Seems like the Android phones are leading the way in this blog but I have used a BlackBerry Storm for 2 years and it's pretty darn good. I like it becuase the keys when you type are on the screen and they are BIG.

My suggestion is to actually pick one up and hold it, play with it, etc. to see how it performs. It's like a camera...pick one that feels right and gets the job done.

I love the Blackberry Storm as well. Does everything I need and does it with ease. And, it gets backed up to my laptop unlike my Samsung which was stolen and it felt like part of my life was stolen! Good luck with your decision.
