Wintergreen VA Homes For Sale

Yesterday I was busy showing Wintergreen Virginia homes for sale.

It was a crisp November morning with brillant blue skies and the views from Wintergreen Mountain were stunning.  Wintergreen is a Resort Community in the Blue Ridge Mountains about a 45 minute drive from Charlottesville Virginia.  The Wintergreen Resort offers ski slopes, a 45 hole mountain golf course, tennis, spa, restaurants and an Inn.

A Wintergreen home can be the perfect choice both for investors looking for rental property, a vacation home or even a year round residence.  Currently there is a wide range of inventory actively listed for sale in a wide range of styles, sizes and prices.  I love the way the Wintergreen homes are constructed and sited to blend in with the natural, wooded surroundings.

There are 113 Wintergreen condos for sale ranging in price from $89,000 - $449,900.

There are 82 single family detached Wintergreen homes for sale priced from $242,500 - $1,250,000.

There are 13 Wintergreen attached homes for sale priced from $329,000 - $599,000.

Below you will see some examples of Wintergreen streetscapes.

If you think a Wintergreen home would be a good choice for you, I would love to show you this unique and beautiful community.

Pam - I noticed the homes seem to be built like homes along the coast in Florida off the ground not basement in partially or fully in the groundas we build them here. Is there a reason for this? Certainly no floods from storms or exceptionally high tides to worry about

Pam it looks like your season is a little bit ahead of ours with the leaves almost gone! Keep up the  good work selling those homes.

Kathy - I think there are probably two reasons.  The pedistal homes are built like they are to take advantage of the views.  There are actually homes with terrace levels due to being constructed into the side of the mountain.  Due to rock builders would not want to dig down.

Bill - the leaves are gone up on the mountain but we still have a lot of color down below.  We have heavy rain predicted for tomorrow so that may take away the rest of the leaves.
