The Main Line Antiques Show 2010 for all you lovers of antiques on and around the main line in Philadelphia is only 12 days away. This year it will be held at the Radnor Valley Country Club with 31 leading East Coast dealers, some who even exhibit at the prestigious Philadelphia Antiques Show exhibiting well over 5000 antiques and works of art between them. That is a lot of stuff to see!
I visited the Delaware Antiques Show on Friday and saw some fantastic things, attractive furniture, some interesting objects, and great art; lots of selling was going on as well. So stop on by the Radnor Valley Country Club on November 20 and 21 in Villanova, right on Route 320 about 1 1/2 - 2 miles south from Lancaster Ave, and bring your wallet or checkbook. It is a wonderful setting and there will be food and drinks available during the show.
The show also has a loan exhibit and lecture series on Saturday revolving around the theme of this year's show Visiting the Main Line - Rail Road Ties, and on Sunday several dealer booth talks during the day. The show benefits Surrey Services for Seniors located in Berwyn.
the new location this year makes it easy for visitors coming from all over, Delaware, Philadelphia, Chester County, even New Jersey or New york. Hope to see you there.
