EAGLE HARBOR WATER RESTRICTIONS ~ FALL 2010

Eagle Harbor residents - if you received a notice from the St. John's River Water Management District that said Eagle Harbor has irrigation restrictions, that is true IF you are NOT using reclaimed water for landscape irrigation.

IF YOU ARE USING RECLAIMED WATER, THERE ARE NO WATER RESTRICTIONS.

However, it is still recommended that you water before 10AM and after 4PM to avoid excess water evaporation.

If you have any questions about this, please contact Clay County Utliity at 904-272-5999.

If you visit EagleHarborOnline, click on the Community tab, then click on Utilities and there is more information about water conservation and irrigation.

Sharon,

It sounds a bit strange, as it is when we are getting into a cooler season, and I thought evaporation is not as noticeable.

Well, that's what the memo said that came out. It can still be hot on any day, but you are right - our hot season is over for now.
