Roger, It would seem to work pretty well!
Yesterday I thought about doing my post about moon names. I was on my way out the door, didn't write it down and completely forgot about it. It took half a day to remember what I was going to blog about. I hate those senior moments. If I don't put a title into draft then it will be forgotten.
LOL @Paul. Your comment started sounding like a green eggs and ham commercial. Would you, could you in a car? Eat them! Eat them! Here they are! Would you, could you on a boat ... ?
We can see you are getting a mountain of those tasty comment treats BLiz! Yes, get those thoughts down on paper or computer screen and get them out there. If we don't we forget the idea!!
Sssssssynthia, I know I've lost some pretty good ideas along the way because I haven't gotten them recorded somehow...POOF!!!
Al and Peggy, Can't complain! Our regulars always give us something to respond to!
BLiz~ I have had just THAT feeling!! Who would have thought to make a blog out of it?? You two of course, witty you are!
Melissa, You know, we can all blog about ANYTHING!! (some are just easier topics than others).
I feel the same way - once a blog has been drafted, why wait? Unless you need approval to use info off a website, it is nice just to SUBMIT!
Joan, I feel that way 99% of the time. However, I've drafted one for tomorrow morning, a day before Veteran's Day post, not our usual lighthearted fare so saving it.
Liz & Bill - I wish I could create a blog pool, I've tried a few times, but I'm a lot like you and want to post it immediately.
Michelle, Most days, definitely don't have the patience. I may stash some holiday posts in the draft bank for travel and actual holidays.
I get ideas during the day, mostly in the form of a title. I try and write that down, because, like Cynthia I generally forget. You certainly are a mine of useful posts. Where do they all come from?
Jane, Different places, just looking for ideas all the time. This one came from a comment exchange with Cinnamon last evening about not waiting to post and not knowing what I'd post this morning.
Bliz ~ I can't imagine you ever running out of ideas for blog posts.
Dawn, There are some days the brain sputters and coughs a bit....but so far it always comes up with something!
It is amazing that we could all seem to take a ball of lint, an orange peel and an old penny and have an amazing epiphany about how that needs to be a blog idea. It is taking over my mind! (but I kinda like it!)
But Alex, that ball of dryer lint can be used to keep the deer away from the Hostas, the orange peel can freshen up the garbage disposal and the old penny reminds me of the coins my grandfather had! Everything serves a purpose, and can be an inspiration source...sometimes we just have to turn it a little sideways to get there! What's not to like?? :)
I am very pro draft mode. I need to edit sometimes, or I just can't complete my thought. Some drafts get old before they are "born."
Phil, I guess once an idea hits me, it's fairly fully formed, so it gets typed, edited a bit, then submit. Only a few like the Veteran's Day post get drafted in advance, then reworked the next morning. I only have one finished draft in queue, and who knows when I may use that one!
You deserve all the treats you smart rat! I love the pictures here. how'd you do that?
Will, Microsoft Publisher clip art. Both were standard when I used the search term Rat.
