Another aspect of being Addicted to Active Rain?  I've got zero patiencerat and maze once a blog idea hits me.  It needs OUT, and it needs OUT NOW!!  Like the rat in the maze with a little bit of a plan, the idea wants to get to it's reward!  I want to share the idea, the local event, a little humor, whatever is hitting that section of the brain that inspires us!

The idea needs OUT while the brain is fully primed for the topic, neurons firing, gotta get the fingers flying and the topic on the screen. 

Review, rearrange, run spellchecker, get the flow and the context, find a picture or two, finalize the format, decide which groups to use and hit SUBMIT and start spreading the idea to the four corners of the earth!

Yep, Submit....nothing goes into my permanent Draft pool for later use.  Doesn't matter to me if I don't have an idea for the next day yet, I assume that somewhere in the real world or blogosphere, there WILL be inspiration and the next post will start gnawing on the inside of my head A blogger's reward!yelling to get OUT NOW!!

Okay, I've got to the end of this maze, give me some of those tasty comment treats! :)

Yesterday I thought about doing my post about moon names. I was on my way out the door, didn't write it down and completely forgot about it. It took half a day to remember what I was going to blog about. I hate those senior moments. If I don't put a title into draft then it will be forgotten.

I feel the same way - once a blog has been drafted, why wait?    Unless you need approval to use info off a website, it is nice just to SUBMIT!

It is amazing that we could all seem to take a ball of lint, an orange peel and an old penny and have an amazing epiphany about how that needs to be a blog idea.  It is taking over my mind!  (but I kinda like it!)

But Alex, that ball of dryer lint can be used to keep the deer away from the Hostas, the orange peel can freshen up the garbage disposal and the old penny reminds me of the coins my grandfather had!  Everything serves a purpose, and can be an inspiration source...sometimes we just have to turn it a little sideways to get there! What's not to like?? :)

Phil, I guess once an idea hits me, it's fairly fully formed, so it gets typed, edited a bit, then submit.  Only a few like the Veteran's Day post get drafted in advance, then reworked the next morning.  I only have one finished draft in queue, and who knows when I may use that one!
