Active Home listings in West Covina are on the rise - based on information extracted from the MLS yesterday, there are currently 242 active West Covina Home listings, that's 18 more than last week, with the most significant increases in the price range between $200,000 to $500,000 (see chart below). Active West Covina Condos are down 5, now at 56, bringing the total of active West Covina Residential Real Estate to 298 (compared to 285 last week).

With regards to active Standard listings compared to Short Sales and Bank Owned Properties, there is a minimal increase of active Standard listings this week (41%, compared to 40% last week), active Short Sales are at 46% (compared to 47% last week), and active REOs remain unchanged at 13%.
Besides the currently active Homes and Condos, there are 35 West Covina Homes and 8 West Covina Condos in Back-Up Offer status, 83 West Covina Homes and 22 West Covina Condos are Pending Sale.
Since November 1, 2010, 15 West Covina Properties have successfully closed Escrow: 6 West Covina Condos (ranging from $175,000 to $281,000) and 9 West Covina Homes (ranging from $280,000 to $598,000). Of the 15 sold properties, 1 was a Short Sale, 7 were REOS, the remaining 7 were Standard Sales.
