It makes you wonder ! Why didn't I think of that??? Great idea..
Hey, great info. I am going to pass this on!
An old method (used in convenient stores) turns into a new life.
Great method to reduce fill and save more trees
Enjoy the day
Tim, Sherilyn, Kathy & Don - thanks for stopping by. I know these crates have been around for some time in retail situations, but Zippgo crates are the only ones that are manufactured with 100% post consumer recycled plastics... a good deal for the environment.
Peggy, 'Go Green' is extended to moving, too - with these new boxes.
Thanks Praful...not sure if you are up to start your day, or you are retiring... It's 3am in Massachusetts! So, thanks for stopping by.
Good morning, Peggy.....I've seen those containers in our office for storage of transactions....
Good Morning Peggy, thank you for sharing an excellent idea!
Great idea Peggy! Go Green! I believe plastic containers are also less likely to transport bugs. I have clients and friends that have become so paranoid about bugs, that they no longer allow cardboard boxes in their homes.
Hi Barbara - yes, their very sturdy for storage.
Dan - thanks for visiting!
Mitchell - I hadn't thought about that... and since NYC has been in the news of late, preventing bugs is a great idea. I'm going to have to find a moving company in NY that supplies them. Thank you for the great idea!
I love the delivery and pickup benefit as well...sweet!
Hi David... yes, sweet it is!
Thank you Peggy for sharing ZippGo with your colleagues. I am thrilled to be changing the way people pack and move for the better while helping to make a positive impact on our environment! Frankly, I believe using plastic moving boxes from ZippGo is a no brainer. Of course saving the environment is reason enough to use our boxes, but in addition to protecting Mother Nature they make moving so much easier. Gone are the days of lugging cardboard boxes to your place, unflattening each box, and then getting caught up in all that tape! Our boxes are conveniently delivered to a client's home pre-assembled, no tape is required, and we pick them up when the unpacking is complete. With all our moving box packages, we provide at no charge box labels made from 100% post consumer recycled paper, zip ties to secure each box, and a custom moving dolly to make moving the boxes a snap.
Customers love our boxes and after moving with ZippGo, they swear they will never move with cardboard boxes again. If you would like to rent moving boxes San Francisco, contact me (Ash) at ZippGo.com or on our toll free number 800-723-7017 and I will be glad to help. Mention Peggy and this blog post and I'll give your clients a 20% discount.
Thank you,
Ash Sud

Hi Ash, Thanks so much for your comments.
Typically, here on Active Rain, comments do not generally include marketing information. But, if you don't mind, you can go to my website (I know you have the address!), and post this there, I'll upload the comment to my facebook page so more people can view it.
I look forward to working with you again very soon in the near future!
Hi Peggy - Nice repost. I've never heard of or seen these before, nor do we have a rental service like that in this area. But what a great idea, especially since they're relatively inexpensive. Is the use of these growing since you first wrote this?
I've used them for years just not green ones. lol
Hi Dick, yes, actually. Especially in the commercial moving arena. These crates are welll suited to office moves as you can fit the contents of lateral filing drawers pretty neatly. The only draw back I run across is that they are not good for books - they just become too heavy.
Hi Mike -- yes, they do come in a variety of colors; however, to the best of my knowledge, the other colors are not made from 100% post consumer recycled materials.
Hi Peggy. The last time you used our service for a client we only had one size, but we now have three different box sizes including a smaller book size box. All of our boxes are still made from 100% post consumer recycled plastic.
thanks so much for the update, Ash!! I'll update the info on my website blog as well.
