VOLUSIA COUNTY BUDGET HEARING TONIGHT

Attention all Volusia County Residents!

Please attend the County Budge Hearing tonight, September 6, at the Volusia Administration Building in Deland. (123 W. Indiana Ave)

They are asking for as many people as possible to come to help stop, or rather protest the "increase in taxes". Apparently last year at the same meeting, over 600 people were in attendance and they successfully stopped the increase. In fact, the City Council voted for a "roll back rate" instead!

If you do attend, they are asking that you wear red in support of this protest. (if possible) The good people with Volusia Tax Reform will be there to hand out Lapel Stickers too.

Way to get information out there to the public Lysa. Maybe you can get all the Volusia Homeowners to start a chant too...oh yeah! Maybe something like..."Increase our tax...go out in sacks..." You might need something more catchy than that!

Leah, Hi girl! I would like to get the homeowners out there, they need to get involved for sure! LOL On the chant!

Lysa, We could sure use a large group of Long Islander's to finally put a stop to the increases. I hope your homeowners can stop the tax increases where you are!

Hi Carole! You guys up there on the "Island" should try to do something. You need to stand up for yourselves or at least try right?
