Here's another buyer's angle worth targeting -landlords. A survey by the National Association of Independent Landlords found that 31 percent plan to buy additional rental property by the end of 2012.
The group said 68 percent of respondents believe current prices make homes a good investment. About 8 percent said it was a good time to buy and rent out retirement homes and another eight percent said it was a good time to buy and rent out vacation properties. Especially if you live in south Florida we have both!
About 73 percent of respondents said they hoped their rental properties would fund their retirements.
With these excellent prices on homes in SW Florida I thinks it's a great time to purchase a home for rental, plus you are purchasing a little piece of heaven when you buy down here!
