This morning I woke to the piercing sun shining down on snow covered trees and branches.  The pictures don't do it justice.  I'm glad I took the time to enjoy it this morning because it has already melted!

The Farm at Arapahoe County is located in SE Aurora just out side of Denver.  We have open spaces and beautiful views from our neighborhood.  There is an elementary school nestled in the neighborhood and a Recreation Center, The Trails Rec Center with Arapahoe Park & Rec Dept.  There are so many beautiful trails throughout the neighborhood.  You can actually connect with the extensive trails in The Cherry Creek State Park all by bike/walking paths.

What a privlege it is to live in Colorado!  It's hard to believe that a few days ago we had eighty degree weather....and because the weather here is so amazing we will probably hit 70 or 80 again before Christmas.  Love it!

Karin, great photos, and The Farm DOES have some great views.    When it snows, and we have crystal blue skies, it is just spectacular!   Thanks for sharing!

Hi Karin

Great photos; it was a beautiful day.  You captured the beautiful blue skies wonderfully.

I'm still more than a little partial to the 80's (tough golfing in the snow).

Karin,

It always looks so pretty after a fresh snowfall.  Don't care for 2 feet of it all at once though.  I do have to admit I enjoy the temperatures in the 70's.

It will soon look that that at the Jersey Shore.  Looks beautiful...if I could view winter in pictures rather than living through it, I'd be happy!

Brigita, I'm one of the oddballs that happens to be fond of 2 feet all at once.  The nice thing here in CO is it melts so quick that it is easy to deal with :)

Laura,  I don't mind living here through the winter, although I do enjoy taking a trip to escape it for a while once we have had too many cold days!

Karin, I love the pictures of the snow covered countryside. We lived near St. Louis for several years so we got to experience winter snows. Of course it was nothing like what you get in CO. Have a Merry XMAS.

Wayne, I don't suppose you see too many snowfalls in San Antonio.  Thanks for your comments!  Merry Christmas!

Wow!  Just stunning!  We have already had a few snow storms come through Ohio so far this winter, but I haven't grown tired of seeing pretty snowfall just yet. It is easy to enjoy, as long as I can do so from indoors where it is warm!
