Tennis is Pinehurst is More Popular Then Some Realize

I recently met with a visiting golfer for a quick drink the other evening in Pinehurst and tennis became a topic of conversation.

Of course the reason it came up is because that is my game of choice. (Me, top left). Now I know golf is HUGE here, but because of the short winter season out door sports of any kind are popular. For some reason this visitor was almost shocked at how popular tennis is.

Most of the club courts are clay, and that allows us to play into our older years because it is soft on the knees. So the retirees that come here have the option to not only play golf, but to enjoy a social or competitive tennis community. So come to Pinehurst to golf, and play tennis. Homes are affordable too!
