September is the month we all look foward to as it starts to bring in some cooler weather (after this summer anything was cooler) and the butterflies are frolicking all over and all the great outdoor activities start up as we head for the fabulous fall season in the LowCountry. You cant beat the weather.

Below are some events that are happening around town if your visiting and The almost famous Hilton Head Area Hospitality Fall FoodFest is September 15. This year, the FoodFest Celebration has expanded to cover several days. The Hospitality Assoc and AIWF (American Institute of Wine & Food) have planned an entire weekend event of fine wine dinners, beer and seafood party, jazz brunch and more.

Upcoming Events

8 Medical Volunteer Training
The Palmetto Chapter of the American Red Cross will be providing training to medical professionals so they can help the Red Cross in responding to disasters. The class runs all day from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at their Sheridan Park headquarters. Call 757-7437 to register.

13 Men of the Church Breakfast
Eric Campbell, area director for Younglife of Hilton Head will be the guest speaker at the 7:45 Men of the Church Breakfast at First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. All-you-can eat bacon, eggs, biscuits and grits, $8. Call 681-3696 for more information.

15 Swampgirl Paddle Party
From 9:30 to noon, the Swampgirls are sponsoring a paddle party and kayak tour to benefit the Palmetto Chapter of the American Red Cross. Cost is $75, call 784-2249 for details.

22 Redfish Tournament at Harbour Town
Harbour Town Marina Beach will host a Redfish tournament at 3 p.m. For more

25-27 Vickie Jourdan Art Classes
The Society of Bluffton Artists will host Vickie Jourdan as she leads a class on abstract/mixed media, from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., at the SoBA Gallery. Cost is $90, supplies list will be provided before first class. Call 757-6585.

29 Paws Around the Harbour
Harbour Town Marina will host a day of pet friendly activities. For more

Long time no talk. I contacted you before in regards to HHI. Remember my wife and I went there for our Honeymoon. We have been there a few times before and after that. We love it. We are planning to go back this coming March 2008.
