At this time of year, turning the clocks back one hour always throws me off a bit. The daylight dwindles at 5:30 and darkness begins setting in. It feels later than it really is.
I shift my schedule so that I can get more done during the daylight hours.
It's difficult to meet folks out at a house after they get off of work, as they really can't "see" the outside of it. So, many appointments shift to the weekends.
In the evenings it's too dark to take the dog to the park for "me" time; my 45 minutes of solitude. Exercising gets shifted to indoors. Although, Bailey the Boxer, isn't too keen on that.
All appointments and activities have to be rearranged and tweaked a bit, to accomodate the early darkness that falls upon us. But, the temperature outside is perfect.
Mornings are when we can catch picturesque glimpses of the beautiful sun peeking out over the Indian River Lagoon.
I have a friend that gets up at 3:00 AM and is in the gym everday by 3:30 AM. He is incredibly dedicated to his lifting.
A very early morning person, I am not.
I suppose I could work on it.
