Researchers at Enquiro did an eye tracking study to see what users looked at on the screen. Results show that eyes stay within a zone they call the Golden Triangle.

Where according to author Aaron Wall from the SEO Book in general, Google gets twice as much traffic as yahoo and Yahoo twice as much traffic as msn.

I have noticed that even being on page one isn't always enough to get traffic. You have to have one of the first couple of slots or you really don't get any traffic. It is interesting how the eyes follow on a page.
