I agree it's the neighborhood is what you make of it. Yes, I know MV don't wish to live there but my niecee does and loves it. Money, good schools, planned community, nice modern homesbut give me old town Fullerton any day with the trains, theaters, great restaurants I can walk too, same as you sort of. It's what you make of it in your community.

I traded the sub-tropics of Brisbane, Australia (Pacific coast) for the mountains of Utah (high altitude desert) four years ago. I have never regretted anywhere I have lived - each place is an adventure. My wife is a Taixus Gal who made it to Utah via NM, AZ and NV. And, yes, we met on the Internet. Having relatives in Oceanside, makes a Pacific reunion a cinch. Love it wherever I am.
