I currently have two websites, www.RedesigningCharleston.com and www.StagingAndRedesign.com.  At the beginning of the year my company will be undergoing some changes and I would like the websites to reflect these changes.  With that said, any web designers out there who would be interested in bidding for the renovation and maintanance of these sites, please send me an email or link your website into the comment section of this blog.

If you send me an email directly, please let me know what you think should be changed on my website & why.  You don't have to tell me how you would do it necessarily or give away the farm.  I'm just looking to see if you are on the same page as me.

One of the things I want added to Redesigningcharleston is a section for buyers/sellers that includes a page for currently staged properties (will need to include RES & before & after slideshow for each property) as well as a page in this section for recommended agents.

One of the changes I would like to add to Stagingandredesign is a section for an active blog.  (I love Craig Schiller's pretty blog on his site.)  It needs to be easy to use and interact with because I'm NOT a techy.

Thanks a bunch & I look forward to seeing what you've got.  If any of you have a company that you use and would recommend, please do also!

Melissa ~ I'm working toward using a company called Lipstick and Rouge Designs http://www.lipstickrougedesigns.com .  April does some great sites, which you can see on her website.  I did have gift certificates done by her (she also does letterhead, business cards, etc.), and she was very accomodating, full of ideas and really gave me her full attention.

Kathy - thanks for the info.  I like what April does, but she seems pretty much a stock site maker to me.  She also does a lot for the current industry, which is one of the things I'm finding I don't like too much about my current one.  I find my material on other sites looking almost exactly like mine a little too often.  I want something different - forward - inpiring.

I think the sites are great for anyone just starting out.  I would say the same thing about my current web designer as well.

Melissa:  Thanks for asking these questions to the AR community.  I'll be checking back to see what reactions you receive.  There are so many levels of web business out there that we non-techies need all the help we can get!

Cheers, from DC!

Melissa,
You may want to post your requirements on elance. It's a gathering of service providers that will respond to your request and bid on the project. I used the service to find a logo designer and my experience with it was great. It doesn't cost you anything to post your project and you don't have to accept any bidder if you don't find a good match for what you need. Best of luck!
