I would like to just take a minute of everybody's time to reflect on Veteran's Day. Some people see this as a day off from work, no mail, no trash pick up, etc. In my area, schools are still opened and most of us are at work, except government workers. So here I am at the office trying to reach those prospects and keep my buyers and sellers happy. But I want to reflect on this one day just for a moment. My Dad is a war hero. I knew nothing of this until I was about 18 or 19 years old. He never bragged or said anything of it. I actually heard about it from one of my male friends who lived across the street from us. My dad had told him some stories of the war while teaching him guitar. I was astonished!! Since then, I learned that my dad was in the battle of the bulge and in Normandy. He actually was one of 10 men to live out of 100's. Go Figure!!! Now my dad is in a nursing home at the age of almost 89. I still admire him. I just want to take this time to THANK all of our vets, active and retired for all they have done to keep our country safe.
THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS!!
