9NEWS is back for the 28th Annual 9Cares Colorado Shares Winter Dirve.
When: Saturday November 13, 2010

Town Center at Aurora I-225 and Alameda
Inverness Hotel and Golf Club east of I-25 & Dry Creek
Southwest Plaza Mall Bowles and Wadsworth Littleton
American Furniture Warehouse I-25 & 84th
9NEWS is back for the 28th annual 9Cares Colorado Shares Winter Drive on Saturday, Nov. 13. Coloradans are encouraged to participate by donating food items, clothing, and toys to any one of our 5 drop off locations.
We are looking to beat last year's total of 202 tons of food and record cash contributions of $121,000. On November 13th from 7am-4pm each site will host a featured theme party and 9NEWS talent personalities.
All donations stay in the local community. Cash and checks are accepted for monetary donations. Checks should be made out to and mailed to 9News 500 Speer Blvd, Denver CO 80203.
Food collected in the Denver metro area will be sorted by our partner FoodWorks Colorado, formerly known as COMPA Ministries, and then distributed to more than 120 local food banks and pantries in the 9Cares networks.
Clothing donated will be collected by ARC Thrift and Goodwill, which will in turn provide local clothing banks with vouchers to visit participating locations. Toys collected will be given to less fortunate families via the Denver Santa Claus Shop and their affiliates.
9Cares Colorado Shares is the largest one-day food, clothing and toy drive in the region. With your help we can serve even more people this year.
If you can't make it on Saturday American Furniture Warehouse and King Soopers will be collecting donated items at their facilities throughout the month of November.
All 11 Colorado-based American Furniture locations are accepting food, toys, clothes and cash for 9Cares throughout the month of November. Cash donations will be accepted at every register and toys, clothing and food can be placed in the 9Cares box near the front door. This year, the Thornton American Furniture Warehouse will be a main collection site on November 13th.
All Front Range King Soopers stores are accepting food donations for 9Cares throughout the month of November. Just look for the 9Cares box near the front door and make your donation.
